Gretchen Halverson and Griffin Severson are engaged and planning an Aug. 31 wedding in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Elizabeth Gall of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ and John Halverson of Lake Geneva. She graduated from Craig High School, ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½, in 2007; received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities in 2011; and received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts in 2016. She is employed as a digital program coordinator at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
