Rice Lake's oldest civic organization, the Rice Lake Fortnightly Club, observed its 125th anniversary with a celebration May 6 at Turtleback. Most everyone attending wore a hat as a flashback to standard attire in the club's early years, with attenders filling 10 tables.

Rice Lake's oldest civic organization, the Rice Lake Fortnightly Club, observed its 125th anniversary with a celebration May 6 at Turtleback. Most everyone attending wore a hat as a flashback to standard attire in the club's early years. The celebration luncheon included mystery photos, a look back at club highlights through a skit, and recognition of past presidents and longest members.
