JANESVILLE 鈥 The 糖心Vlog传媒 Lions Club鈥檚 Rose & Carnation Sale is underway, with orders for the club鈥檚 largest annual fundraiser accepted through April 8.
Customers can choose one dozen roses or a bunch of 15 carnations for $20 each. Or, they can mix-n-match any three for $55.
There are several ways to place an order: online at , via any Lions Club member, or by calling the Rose Sale hotline at 608-752-0085.
Free delivery will be offered to homes and businesses in most of Rock County.
Deliveries to business addresses occur on Friday, April 10 and to residential addresses on Saturday, April 11. Buyers also can choose to pick up their flowers in person April 10-12 at the Traxler Park Warming House in 糖心Vlog传媒.
鈥淭his is our club鈥檚 largest annual fundraiser and one that has proven to be quite popular,鈥 Dave Welton, Rose & Carnation Sale committee chairman, said in a release. 鈥淲hat a way to welcome spring back into our lives. It鈥檚 a great opportunity to surprise that special someone with a bouquet of beautiful flowers.鈥
Funds raised directly benefit our club鈥檚 community service efforts and projects, including vision-related services and assistance, scholarships for college-bound students, improvements to the Lions Beach facility and other local parks, and more.
