Senior isolation focus of SSM Health program at Rotary Gardens
JANESVILLE — SSM Health and Rotary Botanical Gardens are partnering to share important educational information with seniors in 2025.
Wendy Bianchetti, a community health worker at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital — ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½, will present in coming months on a variety of topics that impact the lives of aging adults.
An upcoming session, “Socialization, Not Isolation,†is focused on the importance of socialization. It is Monday, July 14, from 9:30-11:15 a.m. at Rotary Botanical Gardens, 1455 Palmer Dr., ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½.
Attendees will learn more about how loneliness and isolation can impact one’s overall wellbeing and learn about local resources to address that.
Registration is free, with a suggested donation of $5 to support Rotary Botanical Gardens programming. Registration is available online, by mail, in-person, or over the phone at (608) 752-3885.
