Good Day, suncity! As many of you have already figured out, I like to write about those wacky, weird, and quirky holidays-ish days we often hear about on the radio, TV, and social media. I also like to explore some of the amusingly peculiar events in history. It’s good history, though, never controversial, always cheerful.

This weekly column, “Not Just Another Day,” is my way of exploring what might help turn someone’s ordinary day into a notable day. I always like to add a splash of inspiration, a dash of positivity, and a sprinkle of chuckle-worthy wording. My mission: To write something that might give you, dear reader, a reason to smile.
