Cullen Walker’s 26 points and nine team 3-pointers led Brodhead to a 77-63 Rock Valley Rock Division boys basketball victory in Evansville on Tuesday.
Walker made nine field goals and six free throws to capture his 26 points. Jaxon Dooley scored 17 and Gabe Bockhop scored 10 for Brodhead (5-2 overall, 3-2 Rock Valley Rock). The Cardinals’ Sam Searls scored nine points in the contest, all of which came from beyond the 3-point line.
Evansville (1-8, 0-5) had four double-digit scorers in the game. Cade McCollough led the way for the Blue Devils with 13 points. Andrew Wickersham scored 12 and Harker Larsen and Mason Brown each scored 11.
The Cardinals held a 40-27 lead at halftime.
Brodhead will travel to Marshall on Thursday. Evansville will host Lodi on Friday.BRODHEAD 77, EVANSVILLE 63

Flickinger scored 21 and Shallenberger scored 12, but it wasn’t enough to combat Edgerton (6-1, 4-1) as it outscored Clinton 53-25 in the second half. Isaac Krummel led the Cougars (3-5, 2-3) in scoring with 22 points.
Edgerton held on to keep its first-place tie with Beloit Turner atop the conference standings.
The Crimson Tide’s Leyton McKillips scored 21 points and Bryce Appel scored 17. Jack Fox scored 14 points for the Tide and Olin Zellmer chipped in 11.
Edgerton will travel to Oregon on Thursday and Clinton will host Fall River.
