A spring 2021 Gazette aerial photo shows a 45-acre swath of the city 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 landfill off Black Bridge Road that has been capped and closed since 1986. It鈥檚 one of the proposed sites at the landfill that a consultant reviewed for feasibility of solar power generation. A consultant indicated that given the current costs of developing solar compared to the payback of selling power into the private electrical grid, it would ultimately cost the city $5 million to build out solar on about half the parcel.
