Accounts Receivable Clerk | Part-time

This position will become knowledgeable in our accounts receivable environment and system and become a key member of our regional accounting office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of accounts receivable, including collections. You must be a good communicator, demonstrate analysis skills, and have the ability to set priorities, work independently, and multi-task.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge or experience in accounts receivable.
• An understanding of accounting practices and procedures
• Experience or knowledge in the area of past-due collections
• Ability and desire to learn new software systems
• Ability to be a team player, establish good working relationships, work with a variety of internal and external customers

Pressroom Trainee

APG Printing Solutions, the premier newspaper printer in the Midwest, is seeking an energetic person for our pressroom crew. No prior printing experience is required, but solid computer skills are necessary for this job, as our equipment is state-of-the-art.

As part of the training program, this position receives wage increases each six months until reaching Journeyman status.

This position will be night shift, generally from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Weekdays would be Sunday night through Thursday night or Monday night through Friday night.

This is a technical position, so good problem solving skills will be very useful for the successful applicant.

Regional Single Copy Manager

APG of Southern Wisconsin and The ����Vlog��ý Gazette have an opening on their Regional Audience Team for a Regional Single Copy Manager. This position will provide a critical leadership role in the region and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the newspaper retail sales operation within the distribution area. Job includes building relationships with retailers, properly recording distribution and returns numbers and monitoring needed draws per location. The Regional Single Copy Manager will also design, develop, and implement contests to help drive single copy sales and help with events in the regional area.

Regional Audience Sales & Marketing Manager

Working closely with the Regional Director of Audience Development this position will be responsible for executing sales and retention programs, designing and scheduling sales collateral, developing campaign production plans and sales strategies, and will also assist with branding communications, customer loyalty, and rewards programs. Winning will be defined by reaching successful marketing outcomes.

• Qualified candidates will have experience and an understanding of multiple marketing channels, including direct mail, e-mail, print, broadcast,
  electronic media, point of purchase, and person-to-person sales channels, such as telemarketing, neighborhood crewing and event sales.

We are hiring Full Time positions with a starting pay up to $12.00 per hour and Part Time positions starting at $11.00 per hour. Afternoon and night shift include a shift premium. Our ideal candidates will work independently, accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven production environment. You must work well with others and be reliable! Job duties are general paper handling tasks and feeding inserts into packaging machines.

• Day shift hours��fall between 5 am - 1 pm. End time is approximate. Production runs Monday through Saturday so you will work on Saturdays.��
• Afternoon shift hours��fall between 1 pm - 9 pm. End time is approximate. Production runs Monday through Friday.
• Night shift hours��fall between 9 pm - 5 am. End time is approximate. Production runs Sunday night through Friday night.

We can potentially offer some flexibility in your standard schedule, as long as it falls within our production needs.

Insert Operators

Full-Time | ����Vlog��ý - WI

The ����Vlog��ý Gazette Printing and Distribution facility is seeking energetic and reliable team players to join our staff. Ideal candidates will have the ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline driven production environment.

Duties include setting up and operating packaging equipment, verifying accuracy of products being processed, operating hand lifts, responding to production problems during a run, and performing multiple other tasks in a newspaper distribution environment. This position provides line-level leadership for employees.

An ability to work independently and efficiently, an ability to work well with other team members, and reliability are all required. Qualified individuals will also have excellent communication skills, organization and problem solving skills. Preferred candidates will have computer, mechanical and leadership skills. You must be available to work a flexible schedule and have a valid driver’s license.

Full-time positions average 35 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on production but Day shift hours tend to be between the hours of 5 am and 1 pm, Afternoon shift hours tend to be between the hours of 1 pm and 9 pm, and Night shift hours tend to be between the hours of 9 pm and 5 am. Position starts at $14 - $16 per hour. Benefits offered include health/dental/life insurance, paid vacation and 401(K).
