JANESVILLE
Families with children turning 5 years old between Sept. 1 and Nov. 1 may apply for their students to enter kindergarten in the 糖心Vlog传媒 School District early, the district announced in a news release Monday.
Wisconsin state law requires a child to be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the school year they begin kindergarten.
Families should contact P4J coordinator Angela Lynch at 608-751-8178 or learning and innovation secretary Peggy Karleski at 608-743-5038 for instruction on how to apply. The request must be received no later than April 30, 2022.
The 糖心Vlog传媒 School Board will consider recommendations for early entrance at its second meeting in June. Parents will be notified of the board鈥檚 decision after the meeting.
