WHITEWATER鈥擨nterim UW-Whitewater Chancellor John Chenoweth is 1 of finalists for a permanent chancellor position, according to a UW System press release.
Also named as finalists Tuesday were:
- Lynn Akey, vice president for student success, analytics and integrated planning at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
- Corey King, UW-Green Bay vice chancellor for university inclusivity and student affairs.
- Paul Plotkowski, a dean and professor in the Padnos College of Engineering and Computing at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- Mrinal Mugdh Varma, provost and senior vice president of Auburn University-Montgomery in Montgomery, Alabama.
Each candidate will participate in a separate upcoming public forum for students, faculty, staff and community members. Akey will be presented Dec. 6, Chenoweth on Dec. 7, King on Dec. 8, Varma on Dec. 13 and Plotkowsk on Dec. 14.
All of the forums will be at the Timmerman Auditorium in Hyland Hall, 809 W. Starin Road, Whitewater.
