JANESVILLE 鈥 The YWCA Rock County is accepting nominations for the 2024 Racial Justice Award. The deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 15.
This award recognizes an organization or individual who actively works to eliminate racism and promote racial equality.
Candidates must have participated in peacemaking or anti-racism activism while also demonstrating leadership, service to others, and a commitment to peace and race relations.
Last year鈥檚 recipient was Krystal deLe贸n Judah, for her work as a therapist at her private practice and through the Rock County Youth Services Center.
The award will be presented during the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration on Saturday, Jan. 13, at Blackhawk Technical College, 6004 South County Road G, 糖心Vlog传媒.
