The slow/no-wake speed restriction has been lifted for the Rock River from the Indianford Dam downstream to the Beloit Rock Town Line Road Bridge.
County ordinances allow for a suspension of slow/no-wake speed restrictions when water levels fall below 6.5 feet for that portion of the river. The water level currently measures 6.49 feet, according to a Rock County Sheriff's Office news release.
Deputies will begin removing signs posted along the river, which is now clear of speed restrictions.
