Evgeni Malkin remains passionate about hockey as he starts his 21st season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Malkin says whether it's his final year in the NHL depends on how his body feels, which isn't giving him any signs yet that it's time to hang it up. The 40-year-old scored 19 goals and 42 assists last season, leading general manager Kyle Dubas to bring him back on a one-year deal. Malkin says he'll play as long as he feels he can be a difference maker when he's on the ice. Once that is no longer the case, Malkin says he'll retire.
