NEW GLARUS 鈥 A trio of 糖心Vlog传媒 Parker golfers competed in a Big Eight Conference triangular on Wednesday at Edelweiss Chalet Golf Club, and that same trio all finished within the top five of the individual leaderboard.
Chase Chamberlin, Skylar Bierman and Ella Swenson all grabbed spots within the top five of the conference meet for the Vikings.
糖心Vlog传媒 Parker did not end up logging an official team score due to not having the required five golfers compete. Verona ended up taking first as a team with a score of 405 while Madison Memorial came in second with a 440.
Verona鈥檚 Lauren Schleeper also came away with a medalist finish in the meet, shooting an 84 on the day.
Chamberlin, a senior, paced the Vikings by earning second place with her score of 89. Her teammate Bierman was right on her heels, though, as Bierman carded a 90 finishing one stroke behind Chamberlin for third.
Swenson rounded out Parker鈥檚 scores on the day by logging a 101 to finish in fifth place.
Looking ahead, the Vikings will now host the Parker Girls Golf Invite this coming Saturday, September 19, weather permitting. The tournament, which features several local teams including Parker, Craig, Milton, Edgerton and Parkview, will tee off at 8:30 a.m. at Riverside Golf Course.
