The strap-like netting of the Grappler is shown entangled around a rear tire of a minivan that was successfully brought to a stop during a demonstration by Monona Police on May 7. The Department has purchased the Grappler for two of its police vehicles, and is believed to be the first law enforcement agency in Wisconsin to begin using the device.
