Firetruck stock

MILTON — A fire at a house on Golden Lane in the city of Milton was quickly contained on Saturday after a passerby called 911 and reported seeing smoke coming from a second-floor window.

Upon arrival, Lakeside Fire and Rescue reported flames in the living room. The residents were not home but two dogs were rescued. Mutual aid had initially been requested but was canceled after the fire was contained.
