JANESVILLE 鈥 Rotary Botanical Gardens will host its 17th Annual Garden Art Auction Sept. 24. The evening will open with a viewing at 5 p.m., followed by a live auction led by auctioneer Gary Weber at 6.
鈥淔or 17 years, the Garden Art Auction has brought our community together in support of the gardens we all love,鈥 said Rotary Botanical Gardens Executive Director Michelle Ryan. 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful to everyone who has helped this event grow into what it is today.鈥
Since its founding in 2010 by Bev Drew and Deb Grams, the Garden Art Auction has raised more than $180,000 in support of Rotary Botanical Gardens.
There is no cost to attend. Guests are invited to come ready to bid on their favorite garden art poles during the live auction.
Camera Club e xhibitionRotary Botanical Gardens will host 鈥淚n Sharp Focus: The Visual Art of the 糖心Vlog传媒 Camera Club,鈥 a photography display in the Atrium featuring work from members of the 糖心Vlog传媒 Camera Club. The display runs Oct. 1-20 and is included with regular garden admission.
The display brings a local artistic perspective to the Gardens as part of RBG鈥檚 ongoing effort to feature local art throughout the season. Visitors can view the photography anytime during regular Gardens hours, with no registration or advance planning required.
Rotary Botanical Gardens is a nonprofit public garden located in 糖心Vlog传媒, dedicated to inspiring people through horticulture, education and community engagement. The Gardens feature more than 20 themed gardens on 20 acres and are open to the public year-round. Rotary Botanical Gardens is a publicly funded nonprofit and does not receive state or federal funding.
