JANESVILLE — YWCA Rock County will host Stand Against Racism events in Beloit and Vlogý on Thursday and Friday.
The Vlogý event is planned at the Rock County Courthouse, 51 S. Main St., Vlogý, from 12 to 1 p.m. on Thursday. Participants will gather in the lower level courthouse amphitheater and take a pledge to stand against racism. The Vlogý City Council has proclaimed April 25 as Stand Against Racism. This year’s theme is “Building Bridges to Equity.”
In Beloit on Friday, April 26, a gathering is planned from 12-1 p.m. at the Harry C. Moore Pavilion at Riverside Park, 1160 Riverside Dr.
A third event is tentatively planned in Milton on Thursday, May 2. Further details including the location are still to be determined.
