EDGERTON – Edgerton Hospital has opened a new Quick Care at 4 Burdick St. in downtown Edgerton. It's open Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The event is a part of a collaboration between Blackhawk Technical College, Rock County, the Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board and Rock County 5.0.
Edgerton hospital is using $3.8 million in grant funding it was awarded by the state of Wisconsin to create more space for a new, comprehensive pain management center and other outpatient services under growing demand. The plan, hospital officials said, is to do so without building any new facilities.
