Alex Bowman considered walking away from NASCAR after this season. A series of discouraging results convinced him to give racing one more shot. One day after the 33-year-old Arizona native announced he鈥檒l retire after the 2027 season, Bowman explained why he decided to embark on a grand farewell tour with Hendrick Motorsports next year. He wants a chance to finish his career in style and then he wants to pursue his aspirations beyond racing. Bowman spoke before Friday's first Brickyard 400 practice in Indianapolis.
