JANESVILLE – The vintage face of two businesses that operated in downtown ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ in the past century have reemerged as part of a façade rehab.
As contractor Brandon Rossey peeled away a decades-old awning and façade this week on a vacant storefront at 922 Milton Ave., the name of a grocer founded here a century ago revealed itself on the wall beneath – one letter at a time.

A landmark sign first installed in the neon 1950s will make a luminous return to the side of the YMCA building in downtown ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ sometime this spring.
