When an Ohio State fan collided with Iowa scoring supernova Caitlin Clark amid a court storming in Columbus, Ohio, after the Buckeyes beat the Hawkeyes in a women’s basketball game in January, there arose a smattering of questions about how to avoid such unfortunate instances in the future.

Even though Clark might be the biggest star in college sports these days, no major, widespread reforms around college fans storming courts took shape, perhaps because Clark emerged no worse for the wear after her run-in with a runnin’ fan.
