The rising Milton High senior and two-time WIAA Division 1 individual champion is representing the United States at 92 kilograms (about 185 pounds) at the world championships, which also included Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling tournaments this week.
After medical exams and weigh-ins, the qualification round in his weight class will begin at 3 a.m. Central time Saturday (11 a.m. in Istanbul) with semifinals at 9 a.m. (5 p.m.). Sinclair will wrestle Bence Veress of Hungary with the winner slated to take on Toohid Amirali Noory of Iran in the next round.
