"It was a perfect game for the perfect time of year,� Milton coach Kurt Mussey said. That was the game we were looking for. We played really well.�

Milton had 10 hits while the Trojans had 14. The Red Hawks led 5-4 after three innings and used a 4-run fourth inning to boost their advantage. Harris hit a 3-run home run and Ella Knoble scored during the prior at bat. 

“You could tell she was seeing the ball really well… it was a no doubter over left field," Mussey said, recalling the Harris's home run.

Harris pitched four innings and allowed 11 hits and five earned runs. Morgan Bastian pitched the final three innings, and only allowed one run.
