JANESVILLE 鈥 A 糖心Vlog传媒 man was arrested for the second time in two weeks for abusive behavior in, or near the city鈥檚 downtown.
Jermhal Jermaine Campbell, 51, was arrested for disorderly conduct and multiple counts of misdemeanor and felony bail jumping when he allegedly harassed a bus driver at the downtown 糖心Vlog传媒 bus terminal.
Campbell reportedly approached a Beloit city bus driver at the downtown 糖心Vlog传媒 bus terminal and asked her to smoke with him. After she told him no and that she was uncomfortable with the question, she offered him a cigarette. After walking away, Campbell walked over to the family bathroom and started pounding on the door.
Campbell then walked back over to the bus driver and got 鈥渧ery close to her,鈥 which, according to the complaint, made her feel uncomfortable. The driver had a scratch on her face from a family pet, which Campbell noticed. Campbell touched it and said, 鈥淲here did that come from?鈥 To which, the driver said Campbell seemed intoxicated or 鈥渙n something.鈥
The driver reported being 鈥渋ncredibly scared鈥 and told the officer Campbell tried to hit her. She went back to her bus, closed the doors and turned on all the cameras she had access to. She reportedly saw Campbell stumbling. To regain his balance, Campbell walked to the bus.
When questioned about the incident by the responding officer, Campbell said he entered the women鈥檚 bathroom to shave his face and that 鈥渄isturbed a woman who was standing nearby.鈥
After being arrested and placed in the back of a squad car, Campbell unbuckled his seatbelt and smashed his head against the window bars. He then requested to be taken to the hospital. When being booked, Campbell became agitated and used 鈥渧ulgar and profane language.鈥
Campbell was previously charged July 2 with disorderly conduct, misdemeanor battery and felony bail jumping when he yelled at a person and grabbed her friend鈥檚 breast at a homeless encampment near the Ice Age Trail.
Court documents from Campbell鈥檚 July 2 arrested listed him as unhoused, though following the more recent case, Rock County Court indicates he has found housing in a local shelter.
