JANESVILLE 鈥 SSM Health has named Chelsea Hardacre as the president of St. Mary鈥檚 Hospital 鈥 糖心Vlog传媒, the Monroe Hospital and the Monroe Clinic Medical Group.
Hardacre had been serving as the interim president since December.
Hardacre has more than 12 years of healthcare management experience, a release said. She started at Monroe Hospital in 2015 and became Monroe鈥檚 chief nursing officer in March 2020. She took the same role in 糖心Vlog传媒 in December 2023.
Before taking on leadership responsbilities, Hardacer was a bedside oncology nurse for several years.
In March 2025, Hardacre received the SSM Health Presidential Coin, which is the group鈥檚 highest honor, according to the release. The honor exemplifies a commitment to living SSM Health鈥檚 mission.

The Monroe Clinic Medical Group has several locations in Green County in Wisconsin as well as Stephenson County and Winnebago County in Illinois.
Hardacre replaces Jane Curran- Meuli, who retired.
