JANESVILLE 鈥 Health care workers represented by UAW Local 95 in 糖心Vlog传媒, who have been on strike since early July in a labor dispute with Mercyhealth, will rally at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison on Thursday.
Striking union members say the aim is to draw attention to their contract dispute.

The rally, scheduled for 11 a.m. on the King Street side of the Capitol, marks a significant escalation in the ongoing labor action that began on July 2.
The strike, involving over 130 union members, including nurses, physical therapists, and maintenance staff, is entering its third month with no resolution in sight.
The union鈥檚 core demands center on improved wages, affordable healthcare benefits, and they say most critically, enhanced safety and security measures at the clinic. UAW Local 95 President Judy McRoberts has said a lack of security has created an unsafe environment for both employees and patients.
Since the strike began, workers have maintained a consistent picket line at the Mercyhealth East Clinic, located at 3524 E. Milwaukee St. in 糖心Vlog传媒.
The picket line schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The union has also established a food pantry at 1795 Lafayette St. to support striking members and is accepting donations of non-perishable food and baby items.
Donations can be dropped off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Financial contributions to the strike fund can also be made by check.
The strike has garnered support from other labor groups and community members in the 糖心Vlog传媒 area, who have joined picket lines and contributed to the strike fund.
