A photo of deceased U.S. Air Force Airman Second Class Edward J. Miller, who died in a plane crash in 1952 in Alaska, at the home of his sister Dorothy Wheaton along the Santa Fe River, near Ft. White, Fla. May 16, 2020. A harsh storm stopped rescuers from getting to the plane in 1952. The plane has been unable to be reached for almost 70 years. Now as the glacier, where the plane rests, is melting away Miller鈥檚 remains and the wreckage of the plane have been uncovered on the side of the 9,600-foot-high Mount Gannett in Alaska.
