Cason Lee, 45, is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Derrick Grubb in Rock County Circuit Court on May 8. He faces a possible sentence of up to 165 years in prison for the abuse of three child victims.

In May of 2025, a teenage girl told her friend about abuse in her home. Her friend encouraged her to speak with law enforcement, which she did. This sparked a wider investigation, involving the Detective Bureau of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

This investigation resulted in three different child victims telling similar stories: that Cason Lee of Beloit, had sexually assaulted them as minor children. The Rock County District Attorney’s Office charged Lee with seven different child sex crimes among the three victims.

The Assistant District Attorneys Alex Goulart and Verity Altenberger noted the victims’ bravery in facing their abuser. It was the strength of these three victims who, in a room full of strangers, testified to their most traumatic experiences, they said.
