JANESVILLE 鈥 A Rock County 911 Communications Center official says emergency responders were called to a water rescue at the Rock River at Traxler Park in 糖心Vlog传媒 on Monday evening.
A Rock County 911 dispatch supervisor would only confirm responders deployed for a water rescue at Traxler, which they said was called out at 6:06 p.m. Monday.
People fishing along the east shore of the Rock River said about a half-dozen emergency vehicles, including a few ambulances and a half-dozen police officers, arrived at the park shortly after 6 p.m. Monday to conduct what they described as a water rescue, with what the people fishing said appeared to be a person in the river.
A 911 dispatch supervisor declined to say whether responders rescued a person or people from the river at Traxler.
The 911 dispatch supervisor deferred further comment to the 糖心Vlog传媒 Police Department.
糖心Vlog传媒 was not immediately able to reach 糖心Vlog传媒 police supervisors or 糖心Vlog传媒 fire department officials Monday evening for more information on the incident.
