JANESVILLE — A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash in Vlogý Saturday afternoon.
The Vlogý police and fire departments responded to a traffic accident with injuries at the intersection of West Court Street and North Pine Street shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Based on the initial investigation, the motorcycle was headed west while speeding on West Court Street. It crashed into a van that was turning right onto Pine Street from West Court Street.
The motorcycle driver was taken to Mercy Hospital and then flown to UW Hospital in Madison via MedFlight, with life threatening injuries, a release said.
A section of West Court Street was closed for two hours.
No further information was made available; the investigation is ongoing.
