JANESVILLE 鈥 The Town of 糖心Vlog传媒 clerk is clarifying the time of a Planning and Zoning Committee meeting that will have a public hearing regarding a potential data center moratorium ordinance.
糖心Vlog传媒 Town Clerk Don Blakeney posted an agenda last week that the meeting was scheduled for "Monday July 28" instead of "Tuesday, July 28." The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the Woodman's Sports and Convention Center, 2506 Milton Ave.
"I will go and fix that immediately," Blakeney told 糖心Vlog传媒 on Monday just after noon.
At the meeting, the committee may give recommendations to the full board on what the moratorium will look like. A moratorium will not be approved at the meeting.
The meeting is expected to draw a large crowd, which is why the town shifted to the Woodman's Center. Meetings with data centers as a discussion topic on agendas at government meetings have typically drawn standing room only crowds that have trickled out into hallways not just at the Town of 糖心Vlog传媒 but the towns of Turtle and Beloit.
