BELOIT 鈥 The Border Brouhaha Celebrity Softball Game returns to ABC Supply Stadium on July 19, bringing together Green Bay Packers legends, Olympic champions, local celebrities and community leaders for an afternoon of family fun, entertainment and philanthropy.
All proceeds from the event at the home of the Beloit Sky Carp will benefit Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, helping grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses throughout the state.
The celebrity softball game will begin at 3 p.m. Headlining the second year of the event are former Packers stars Mason Crosby, Jordy Nelson and Ahman Green, along with Olympic gold medalist Bonnie Blair.
The lineup this year also includes:
鈥 University of Illinois standout running back Ca鈥檒il Valentine.
鈥 Philanthropist, community advocate and co-host of the Border Brouhaha Molly Crosby. She and her husband Mason have supported Make-A-Wish for more than 14 years.
鈥 Stateline region business and community leader Jeff Budzien.
鈥 Wisconsin State Representative for the 33rd Assembly District Rob Valcq.
鈥 Project manager for Corporate Contractors Inc. (CCI) Pete Woodkey, who is featured on the TV series Betting on Beloit and a driving force behind many of Beloit鈥檚 landmark developments.
鈥 Broadcaster, entertainer and community ambassador Mike 鈥淛ocko鈥 Jacques.
The Border Brouhaha is one of the region鈥檚 premier summer events, combining sports, entertainment, and community spirit while supporting a cause that changes lives. Fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and be part of an afternoon that celebrates the power of giving back.
